BOY, does it hit on some MAJOR issues going on right now.

The ruling "party" in "V" seems to be based very much on the Ultra Conservatives we are having to put up with.

'Providence' forbid they ever get real power in our government. If so, we might end up with a "Life imitating Art" sinarrio.

I even saw a YouTube video that compares the two. Beck had to be the inspiration for 'Prothero'!

And they love to push their ideas on people.

not going for the hispanic votes
not going for any other immigrant votes
not going for the gay votes
not going for the womens votes
not going for the non-christian votes

They DO try and keep courting the Jewish vote however.

Their voting block is a tad limited imho
