That is what I see with the Republicans on the Sunday morning talk shows.
They brought a big shovel for the bullshit they were trying to sell.
They had Karl Rove defending his 501(c)4 against Arianna Huffington. And he was on his IRS conspiracy wagon this morning. They had Rep. Marsha Blackburn and Paul Gigot, and others, all intent on stirring up the scandal shit so they could shovel it into the living rooms of Americans.
They were mostly unanimous that Atty-General Eric Holder must go. He has "lost the trust of the American people", one said. This appears to be the horse they have chosen to ride? They will stay on Holder's case until the President has to let him go. The least they will win is that they will keep the Administration on the defensive. The President has no intent on letting Holder go.
In fact, he may be happy that they have chosen Holder to attack? It relieves the pressure on the other so-called "scandals" and gives him an opportunity to point out the real agenda of the Republican Party. They do not want to govern - they only want to investigate and play politics and do nothing except try to win the next election. Republicans may be falling into a trap?
