RIP Senator.On Edit Senator Lautenburg was at 89, the last of the World War II Veterans.

(3,891 posts)He came back from Retirement to save the seat from the damn Republicans who were trying hard to steal it. We owe him a lot for his sevice, a debt that now sadly can never be repaid.

World War II vets don't like war, unlike the current leadership, they put some things ahead of money. Human life, for instance.
