Apparently the birth control issue is more important than bank control.

The usual voting season bull shit has set in. Religious bull crap has once again has displaced the much more important issues of jobs, corruption, war and (I am sure they welcome the diversion) OWS. Why does this happen? IMO they are playing to the emotional religious moron base because they know it will get those voters attention. So what does that say to me? IMO it says that they don't give a shit about the critical thinking, rational voters. I am sure the news media also welcomes this bull shit as they also would rather play to the stupid as indicated by all the (insulting to ones intelligence) commercials. Stupid sells ...and so does this dumb ass birth control bull shit. IMO we should focus on keeping OWS, banksterism (possible new term), corruption and war on the table.

Discussion is welcome. Others need not do the usual snark, insults, reframing, etc.

they have no ideas and they do not know how to govern

If you listen to them all they do is say what they will tear down
never say what they do to move this country forward

They go with the emotional issues because their base can get emotional but know nothing about policies.

They can keep their base in that ignorant mode with the emotional issues while they pass laws that only make the rich richer.

The media, other than a very, very few, do not understand the economy, MFG, the banking deal. They read PR releases like it is investigative journalism. TV Media personnel are chosen for their looks and delivery, not for their brains.

Take Brother Love's Traveling Minstral Huckabee. The governor who set rapists/murders free to rape and murder again, he is now a big FOX contributor with a McMansion down here on the Gulf he has to support. He doesn't care about birth control, but the War on Women is a big money maker, and he loves the money more than Jesus. Corruption, war, jobs, OWS, the future of the US, that will not bring him a huge paycheck and obscene speaking fees, birth control does. And his buddies in the media are going to be pumping him for ratings that he can turn into big money for the greedy slime.

Not to denigrate women's access to birth control, but it's so much easier for the media to push culture war issues rather than explain tedious economic theory/practices.

It's the media.
