Verizon record request includes time and location of calls...govt can track you.

The four-page order, which The Guardian published on its website Wednesday, requires the communications giant to turn over "originating and terminating" telephone numbers as well as the location, time and duration of the calls.

Discussing the use of GPS data collected from mobile phones, an appellate court noted that even location information on its own could reveal a person's secrets: "A person who knows all of another's travels can deduce whether he is a weekly churchgoer, a heavy drinker, a regular at the gym, an unfaithful husband, an outpatient receiving medical treatment, an associate of particular individuals or political groups," it read, "and not just one such fact about a person, but all such facts."

Since Verizon already has this data (obviously), do you think they don't already make use of it? randome Jun 2013 #1

It's like I am carrying a little bug on me at all times. Apple, AT&T, the Govt....they are all spying on me. I really do not like the intrusion.

Go back to sleep, it's so much easier when you're asleep.

For a while I almost felt an anxiety attack coming on, like when I feel claustrophobic.

and what I find more troubling is how easily we have been made to shrug this off, at least a lot of us.
