who refuse to acknowledge the danger posed to democracy by all-pervasive surveillence. I know I have been surprised to see who doesn't support Snowden. Now is your opportunity to see peoples true colors. I know I am going to keep this list at hand so I won't be fooled again by people who only pay lip service to the ideals of the Founding Father, who clearly are here to promote a hidden agenda.

(62,325 posts)to hide we have nothing to worry about? So now, we are to worry more about an obscure poster on the internet keeping tabs on us, than on the Government doing it?
Omg, I love DU!! Watch the OP get slammed by the SAME PEOPLE who have supporting the Government keeping tabs on all Americans!!
I think that is the point of the OP btw. To see who remains consistent.
Hillarious, the OUTRAGE over 'making a list and storing it'!!

You either take yourself or this place too seriously. Go for a walk and get some fresh air. Talk to a friend about something other than politics. Pet an animal. Hug a loved one. These things are not distractions. They are what life's all about.
Or, hunker down and continue your manic decent into the rabbit hole, armed with your lists of people and their "true colors."
Sorry, meant for OP.

(12,530 posts)I neither support nor vilify Snowden--I don't know enough about him. But I do appreciate that he appears to have thrown away his life to let us know what we need to know.

What list are you going to put ME on?

(12,448 posts)And no, it's not just whoever disagrees with me, I've had plenty of knock-drag-outs with lots of others, but it varies with issue to issue, point by point, and five minutes, or a week, later we're agreeing, or not, on something else.

And the 'Obamabot sychophant true believers' are supposed to be the creepy ones, eh?

(2,117 posts)At least, I hope you're being sarcastic. Promoting the very thing you're claiming to oppose? If it's not sarcasm, then you probably need to think about this idea just a little more.
sinkingfeeling
(57,964 posts)isn't the same as acknowledging a danger with all-pervasive surveillance. In fact, I see it as the reverse. Snowden blew the whistle to let you know about the surveillance, he didn't start it.
