I know it's pretty much guesswork at this point, but those more knowledgable than me:
Any realistic chance of decisions tomorrow or are we most likely looking at Monday at the soonest?

Question: Whats the last day the Court will issue opinions?
Answer: We dont yet know when the last day will be. Based on past practice, the most likely days are June 26 and 27. Although we cant say for sure, we may know more about next weeks schedule as early as today.

Decisions typically come on Monday and Thursdays, and the court's final scheduled session for this term is on June 24. However, the court may add additional dates to its schedule. SCOTUSblog predicts the rulings on same-sex marriage are most likely to come on June 26 or 27, based on the court's past decision patterns.

For certain, no decisions will be released tomorrow (i.e., Friday). The next scheduled day for decisions to be released is Monday; the Court will surely announce additional days next week for the remaining decisions (of which, by my count, there are still 11 due to be released).

(36,974 posts)8. Yes, 11. But there is a tiny posibility that not all 11 will be announced.

Question: If a case is not decided by the end of the Term, will it be re-argued?
Answer: Ordinarily, yes, the Court will order re-argument during the next Term. But its relatively rare for the Court to order re-argument, particularly if it hasnt asked the lawyers in the case to address a new question.

(62,444 posts)6. You reckon we'll get enough rain for the rutabagas?
I seen cows layin' down, so I reckon we'll get some.
You think the rain might ruin the rhubarb?
