More unsolicited advice to Dems, this time from DERSHOWITZ, "drop Media Matters or lose"

Add him (& Faux Propaganda outlet) to the Ruben NAVARRETTE fetish circle dedicated to volunteering their advice to the Democratic Party on what to do despite, at least NAVARRETTE and Faux, being de facto Rethug operatives. In case some don't know about him, NAVARRETTE learned to hate the (his words: ) "white Liberal males" who dared to foist Affirmative Action on beneficiaries of it, and it's funny/odd how many AA alums from those detested "Liberal" universities turn out to detest the Liberal orientation. Yet, N. is always giving advice, shirley for the better good fortunes of the Dem party.

Dershowitz warns Democrats to drop Media Matters
.... Max Blumenthal, a UPenn graduate who used to work with Media Matters, wrote a scathing op-ed for the school newspaper about Dershowitz in which he called the professor "an open advocate of torture" and suggested Dershowitz could be responsible for violence against Israel's critics.

Asked about the article, Dershowitz reportedly recounted the many fallacies in it and then remarked about its author.

"Let me tell you, Max Blumenthal and Media Matters will be singlehandedly responsible for (Obama) losing this election. They (the Democrats) cannot win the election and keep this affiliation with them," he is quoted saying, according to American Thinker's Laurie Lowenthal Marcus, who tweeted the comment to Blumenthal. ....

Blumenthal's comment comes after Media Matters senior fellow MJ Rosenberg received critical attention for deploying the expression "Israel firster" to describe American lawmakers and others who voice unwavering support for Israel, implying that their loyalties are to Israel first, and to America second.

The expression, used by anti-Israel bloggers, was widely condemned by the Anti-Defamation League and Simon Wiesenthal Center. The Center for American Progress, which The Daily Caller reported on Monday sends a representative for regular meetings with folks from Media Matters and the White House, stopped its use of the expression after the criticism. Media Matters did not.

I mean don't you know how great a genius he is? All you have to do is listen to the guy talk for 5 minutes and I'm sure he'll tell you.

The RWRadio/Fox version of Israeli politics is not representative of the diversity in Israeli thought; it is representative only of the RW Likud party. Thus, those who profess to be "pro-Israeli" are really just pro-Likud.

I'm sure if the Likudniks and some neo-Nazis were locked in an all out, to the death struggle, they could still find some time to arrange a truce if there were gays to bash, women to subjugate, and Muslims to torture. Then it would be back to shooting at each other (with God on their side).

and women to subjugate, they'd even join up with radical Muslims to get that job done first. Then it would be back to all of them shooting each other.

There is no difference between right wingers of any stripe.

... he's basically saying Obama cannot win without the Jewish vote, but then he objects to a term like Israel-first, a term that is proven true by saying he can't win without the Jewish vote.

at Obama back when Joe LIE-berman was doing thing many GOP types would not do. It's the old "bnetter obey us or we will call you an anti-semite" thing.

Personally, I don't have a dog in the fight except for the belief that Israel has a right to exist and defend itself.

I believe the region is ripe to become exponentially worse. It will never get better until they collectively learn to govern from state houses as opposed to mosques or military command centers.

they will make zero difference. I highly doubt there are that many Americans who aware of them and are thinking "Oh I would vote for Obama but that Max Blumenthal once said something mean about Alan Dershowitz in a school newspaper."

The astounding egotism of Alan Dershowitz.

Yes, I'm sure that millions of voters are looking at a school newspaper's scathing op-ed about Dershowitz, and deciding that it will determine who they vote for in a Presidential election.

There was a time when people like this just talked to themselves in bus stations. The Republicans have found a home for people who think they're Napoleon.
