My political donation account for my run for city council is now active at PayPal

Several DUers have been asking when I would start raising funds in my run for the Bellevue (Ne) City Council in Ward I.

I know that some will be saying I ask for free stuff and you will get nothing. Most of you know by now who they are. I guess this is your chance to show that crowd what you think of them.

Today is the first day of accepting donations. I got my first pledge an hour after the account was activated.

6. You could turn this into a challenge

Last year I sent out an email asking for one dollar to Planned Parenthood for every yes vote in the legislature on a nasty anti-choice bill. I had 10 friends take me up on the challenge and we raised over $1000 for Planned Parenthood.

You should ask for $5 for every mention of you or your candidacy by that cave dwelling crowd. Put them to work raising money for you.
