As my nephew said about Zimmerman...

"George Zimmerman went to martial arts classes 3 times a week to catch a beat down in 20 seconds by a 17 year old 50 pounds lighter than him. His Master's name is Master Catch ABeatDown everybody in that school needs to ask for their money back. Cowardly dog."

I am asking a serious question here because I didn't the trial today but saw some news chops from it. Did they show any of the original photos that were shown to the media the night of the beating when he was taken to the police station? As I recall, those photos did not show anywhere near the wounds that the photos shown today did and these photos were take a day later when he went to the hospital. If he had been beaten so badly that night would not have gone to the hospital then? Or have I missed something?

I believe you are the first person on the face of the Earth to learn that "the police took him to the hospital."

Everyone else believes that Zimmerman was cleaned up at the scene by EMTs and refused the option of going to the hospital.

Good screen name, apparently.

The next day Zimmerman went to work and at work they told him he had to have a release from a doctor to come back to work.

So Zimmerman took himself to the doctor's office and a physicians assistant looked him over.

why would his work need a release from a doctor?

Did Zimmerman say he needed some days off because he was sick?

... maybe they just wanted to be sure that he was okay - like no head injury or something - so that if he passed out at work and hurt himself the company wouldn't be liable for a workplace injury.

Zimmerman was treated by paramedics, but the police did not take him to the hospital. They did, however, take pictures of his injuries.

out of far he would gt his ass handed to him. Gotta wonder how that would effect a mans pride.... hmmmm.

As I said from the beginning, he seems to have a terrible mindset for a CCW, it should make you exponentially MORE cautious of an easily escalated situation, not more confident.

Seriously, are asking if the media did their job? Remember that it was NBC that actually altered evidence so their news looked like it had something the others did not have. The prosecution will lose this case because the media and other morons in the "news" pushed this case too soon and now a guy that is guilty of something will walk.

There is a chance that he would have been found guilty of manslaughter, but I don't think he will ever be convicted of second degree murder.

And many MMAers like the defensive posture you can get under someone.

Just mentioning that because who was on top of whom seems to be a big part of the discussion here.

And fighting dirty win me more fights than fancy techniques. The one exception is a few locks i use regularly when controlling someone. In reality i would rather fight someone who does martial arts than an eighteen year old meth head whos tweaking.

Previous assaults on a woman and a police officer. The only thing that Zimmerman had going for him that night was the gun in his hand. Some people seem to think that that is a wonderful thing. Pick a fight with an unarmed teenager in the dark and rain, possibly get hit by the kid you're accosting, so pull out your gun and blow him away.

Very impressive.
