A glimpse into how bad it is going to be in Alaska this campaign cycle.

The repug party has Orangeman Boner up here for a fundraiser.

Too bad we can't get even a, "Hey, how's it going up there", from the National Democratic Party.

Say goodbye to Mark Begich and the repugs get another seat.

Mead worries me a bit. I think it's such an incredible conflict of interest for him to be in charge of elections while running for US Senate. He needs to quit NOW. And take Gov. Giveaway with him.

Treadwell doesn't have name recognition but a multimillion dollar add campaign will change that.

I don't have any faith in the pollsters in Alaska, they may say Mark "doesn't need to worry" but they are almost always wrong when it comes to democratic victories.

Has it occurred to you that Begich is raising his money out of state where the income levels might be slightly higher?

and the national repug party taking a large interest in it makes me concerned.

When it comes to national democratic involvement we can safely say it is nonexistent.

...since I've met with Begich in the past month, and have an understanding of what DSCC is doing.

Public presence and endorsements at this point are meaningless. They key factor is fundraising and I can promise you that's going on.

by Alaska Dems to last a lifetime but the fact of the matter is if he hasn't "won" by now he won't come the election.

Mark will undoubtably get the Dem votes but that isn't near enought to win statewide elections and depending on the mythical "independents" for the calvary to rescue him is wishful thinking.

As for his fundraising it will pale in comparison to what the oil companies are going to throw in for this election. They have billions of dollars on the line, spending a few million to keep their tax scheme going is just good business.

Two of my kids live in Wasilla. I will be visiting in about ten days and want to go trout fishing. They said Kenai. Any ideas?
Can I use live bait? (worms)

then you will be using flies.

If you are going on a lake then you could use flies or bait. No live bait.

PM me if you want to go lake fishing, I have property on the peninsula that has great fishing. I don't have a canoe to use but you can rent them cheap.
