Nature abhors a vacuum...

It is just as true in the political world as in any part of our personal lives. If there is an emptiness or void in our lives, spiritual or otherwise, we are naturally inclined to fill that void. So it is in the political world also.

When there is a lack of ideas or vision, something will rush in to fill the space. So it is with the present Republican Party. They have rushed into a vacuum created by a Democratic Party that has run out of ideas. But the Republican ideas are dangerous and harmful to our people and our society.

It is their natural inclination to punish the poor and the less privileged. They are not empathetic to other people. Their policies reflect that in every way. They want to cut food stamps. They want to give drug tests. They are against public education. They oppose paying taxes for anything. If they are not challenged, they will cause great harm to our people and our nation.

President Obama ran on unity in the nation and getting rid of the 50-50 and bringing in 80-20 is unity.

but keep thinking it is yesterday, when tomorrow is here.

The fact that anyone takes them seriously is embarrassing. Who actually talks like that?
