I'm going to give Snowden the credit of assuming he has a decently secure OS setup on those, so the rough answer is "probably not"

anything of importance would be encrypted. They aren't getting any information unless it is given to them.

Well trained by the CIA & NSA. Those machines will be well defended against intrusion, and the data will be encrypted. Furthermore, if Mr. Snowden is not dissembling and the data has been replicated and distributed already, as he says, it's not worth their trouble to get it, they will get it anyway when it's published.
