Court injunction against anti-whaling group denied

A US federal district court has declined a request by Japanese whalers for a preliminary injunction to immediately stop obstruction of their activity by the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.
In December, the Tokyo-based Institute of Cetacean Research filed suit in the US state of Washington to stop the anti-whaling group from carrying out such obstruction in the Antarctic.
