16 year-old family member arrested for murder of Terry Smith, missing boy in Menifee, California

Hundreds of people have been searching for this poor missing boy, feared lost in extreme heat,
until police found "remains" at or near the home.
Now they say his brother was responsible for his death...Kid's name was Terry Smith.

they were reporting about the missing boy and how people were looking for him still.

but then the reporter said something about how the mother of the missing boy told her son not to talk to reporters or tell them anything and that she refused to talk also.

esp. given that the mother did not know her son was missing until the next day.
One story said she had been home at all the previous night..which strikes me as a bit weird.

so they had to get a search warrant and i guess that's why it took some time.

if the brother did it the rest of the family seems to have been involved in covering for him.
