They're not the conservative dems that are notable in that poll b/c the conservative dems were always the ones who were pro extended surveillance, it's the 30% switching from against it to for it when Obama is in office. That crowd will switch to whatever his position is on certain issues, usually the ones that are a little more vague.

(62,325 posts)Since then there have been more revelations of how far this has gone. Republicans are learning that blind partisanship can be a danger to their own interests. Let's hope everyone learns it before it is too late.
