Emphasis is mine.

In a darkened courtroom, photos of the dead teenager were shown on a large screen.

There was one with face-up, one with him covered with a blanket, and another of him face-down, the way Sanford Police Sgt. Anthony Raimondo said he found him when he arrived on scene.

And they were entitled to see it. And I know they saw it because the first time I saw it was during the trial when the cameraman didn't pan away fast enough.

Of course the judge would have allowed it in. Cases routinely allow grisly autopsy photos and the visual results of other deaths in. It's valid and something that jurors need to see. It's the very reason they're there. It's EVIDENCE. And of course the defense tries to fight against such evidence... they don't want the real grisly details exposed to them so they can try to sanitize a murder.

Good grief, you should have seen the grisly photos that were allowed in the Jodi Arias case. A huge gaping neck wound that nearly severed the head on a corpse 5 days dead is not a pretty sight. And of course they were allowed in. It's EVIDENCE.

Gosh darn, my winger dad was telling me all about how the lburrl media was spinning this. We only saw old pics of the kid, back when he looked cute. The day he died, he was a buck negro, a scary-looking banger and it was only a white(ish) dude with a gun standing between him and the white wimmins. If we'd seen what Zimmy saw, we'd have been clamoring for a good man with a gun to shoot.

So, where is that scary dude's corpse? All I see here is a dead kid who doesn't look much different from his "deceptive" picture.

It's good for this pic to be out there.

The white supremacist sites also put out a lot of photos of people who are not the Trayvon Martin who was killed by Zimmerman. Gawker and other sites picked up those photos and published them. Their retractions were either meager or nonexistent. There are photos all over the internet of scary looking black men - some with tattoos all over their bodies, some flashing gang signs with orange prison pants falling off them, etc. - that are NOT photos of the Trayvon Martin killed by Zimmerman even though that is what is claimed.

The so-called mainstream media has done nothing to correct the record.

Keep in mind that every single one of the supposed eye-witnesses who claimed to see a fight between Martin and Zimmerman has a serious conflict of interest. As residents of the condo complex, they stand to get sued big time if Zimmerman is convicted. There has been one civil suit that has been settled, but there are likely to be many more. The condo association knew that Zimmerman was unofficially patrolling the complex while armed. The board had already heard complaints about Zimmerman confronting and harassing other residents of the complex. The HOA board is liable for being negligent and possibly reckless in allowing Zimmerman to do this.

If Zimmerman is acquitted it may help stave off these civil suits. If he is convicted then the floodgates open and every owner in that condo association could lose a lot of money in judgments against the association. Even renters stand to lose because their rent and insurance will go up. The HOA officers could potentially be liable for millions.

this is what America's love of guns is about. This is the result of stupidity - yes there are consequences. I wish they would show the little children who have been shot out of stupidity to knock some sense into this country. Like the wars we get involved in - we can go about our day without thinking of the carnage that is done in our name because what we see is sanitized so we can hold on to the myths.

A lanky teenager in khaki pants. Someone's son, someone's friend, some kid's playmate and babysitter lifeless. His face looks like he is still wondering why this guy chased and shot him.

after seeing this pic I'm not sure that he punched Zimmerman even once. His right hand shows no skinning of the knuckles. They went through why people don't bruise without blood pressure or blood flow but even one good punch will break the skin on the knuckles of the person throwing it.
