Mass shooting at/near an REI in San Francisco. Multiple victims reported. 2 confirmed dead.

NBC Bay Area @nbcbayarea: #BREAKING: Emergency crews are responding to a report of multiple shooting victims at the REI in San Francisco. More to come

@Emergency_In_SF: SHOOTING: possibily inside REI (Brannan between 7th & 8th). Scene is NOT safe & area should be avoided.

Up is down down is up. Having more guns does not lead to less gun violence.
We want to keep working on the problem now, tomorrow and forever. There is no acceptable level of gun violence. As long as people have guns people will cause gun violence. And people will have guns so we will keep fighting gun violence.

That's a reach way down in the bag of old gunner talking points.
You got to put some meat on that bone. Some macro statistic is meaningless in a debate about current shootings.
That's like saying the sky is blue most of the time so don't talk about the tornado that just hit us.

the only first hand sources are the thousands of individual police departments that file crime reports to the FBI. The CDC uses FBI on crimes - there is no independent CDC reporting system.

To the people who make the snarky comments like "how are those gun control laws working" in response to every murder that happens in a blue state ask yourself this. Do you say the same thing when someone is murdered in general "How are those thou shalt not kill commandments working for ya" or "How are those laws against murder working out for ya". Yes, that's how ignorant you people sound when you reduce the debate to that elementary level.
