Bumper sticker observation about Obama

I have recently noticed that when I see certain bumper stickers that disparage Obama, while my very first reaction is that it must be a conservative/Republican, my immediate second thought is that it also very well may be a disappointed liberal/progressive/Democrat.

I don't think I've ever had that experience with any other politician/candidate/bumper sticker.

I also don't like the fact that I'm very ambivalent about even posting this observation on this forum.

Liberals/progressives/Democrats disappointed with President Obama know better than to give Republican knuckle-draggers more ammo. Anti-Obama stickers are pretty much sported by those "Miss Me Yet?" Teabag idiots who want a white Republican male back in the White House to nail the door shut on progress once and for all.

I saw one the other day that seemed really mild, so mild that it made me wonder.

I can't recall what it said, but it seemed to express disappointment rather than hostile mocking or something.

But after a moment of thinking about it I concluded that the driver was an idiot for having the sticker, no matter their intention.

Liberals who oppose Obama would probably just remove their Obama stickers. But I see a lot of them on bumpers still.

A lot of people still believe in him passionately, or maybe they just are too scared of a Repub presidency and that's their way of showing it. .

expected disappointed liberals/progressives/Democrats starting during the primaries. The man was expected to perform miracles. The behavior on DU was so bad I found it difficult to get behind him after he won the primaries. I did vote for him, of course, and I haven't been disappointed. He is pretty much what I expected. And some people have reacted exactly as I expected. I only hope their disappointment isn't big enough to advertise on a bumper sticker.
