Zimmerman's chair

I noticed this when he came back into the courtroom a little while ago. Looking at several different pictures, West is about an inch taller than Zim. Look at their chairs.

Trying to make him look smaller and less intimidating.

Of course he stood up to be recognized for witnesses so I'm not sure it was all that effective. But that's what they were doing.

A tactic to try and make their client look smaller/shorter ergo less threatening. Juries are not dummies and can see this kind of tactic for what it is the moment the defendant is required to stand.

10. Yes, Jodi Arias kept her chair as low as it could go - was like a foot lower than attorney's chair

I think they shouldn't be allowed to do that.

the intent is to deceive the jury day after day after day without the State having any recourse to stop it.

Excellent catch! You are absolutely on target with this find.

They are amazingly devious to every detail.

why didn't they just nag his ass while awaiting trial, to maintain or lose weight rather than pack it on?

Isn't he something like 50-80lbs heavier since his arrest?

Not like a mma fighter in training.

Also, there was only four inches difference in their heights, but 50 lbs difference which is significant.
