That's my guess, and I am probably wrong, but he isn't a brave man, not by a long shot, and he certainly isn't honorable.
He sure can't hide in the hood....

(12,149 posts)that he was thinking of going to law school so he could learn to help others wrongly accused, such as himself, I screamed and turned the radio off. It may never come on again.

(11,076 posts)He has to actually graduate from college.
He has to be accepted by a law school (not out of the question if he is accepted by a RW school)
He has to actually pass the bar exam.
I think that there are some actual ethical standards to getting your license.
I would love to see a civil case against him. Even if TM's parents never receive a dime, it would be worth it to get all of GZ's past problems entered onto the record: hitting a cop, restraining order by past girl friend, allegations of molestation of family friend, and lying to the court about his PayPal defense account.

(2,467 posts)Is that the FBI didn't find ant evidence of a racial motivation. How is the doj going to proceed with the existence of this report?

(11,076 posts)dirt could come out. It becomes a matter of making him unmarketable in the workplace and/or law school.

If he actually did go to law school, aren't attorneys required to do pro bono work? Imagine him defending one of "those assholes"?

He probably thinks the exam questions are akin to "name a top shelf bourbon".

(6,151 posts)But remember I said 'not forever'. I don't think GZ WILL wind up somewhere with the wingers because he's just too dumb and blind stupid to sit well with them for very long either. I mean, Furhman has one or two brain cells, but Georgie maybe not so much.

(3,731 posts)sooner or later, he's going to O.J. himself and, just like O.J., he'll wind up in prison.

(54,831 posts)based on the evidence presented in the Florida court, I don't see what they could base a hate crimes case on. They need clear evidence of racist intent.

"On April 22, 2011, Zimmerman called to report a black male about 7-9 years old, four feet tall, with a skinny build and short black hair. There is no indication in the police report of the reason for Zimmermans suspicion of the boy."

(54,831 posts)That's the kind of racism that afflicts most of us in this country. Did you see that video someone posted of the black vs. white bicycle thief?

DOJ would need proof that Zimmerman killed Trayvon because he was black and because Zimmerman maintained an active and overt hatred of African Americans. The fact he is imbued with the kind of racism that permeates American society is not enough. DOJ would need evidence we haven't heard about.
The real problem is the guy was carrying a gun, and he will carry a gun in the future, which makes it likely he will kill again.

(3,731 posts)And the FBI has already said that there's no evidence that Zimmerman is a racist.

Given this, I just don't see any Federal charges coming forward, oh sure, they'll hem and haw for a few months, but in the end...........................nothing.

(82,383 posts)He'd have to find a country that would take him. His mother is Peruvian, so that might be a place he can go. Wonder who can have guns there.
