A guy from George Zimmerman's neighborhood was on CNN claiming Zimmerman was a nice guy. He was also claiming Zimmerman did things for people that most other people would not do. This guy whose first name was Jorge claimed Zimmerman knew everyone in the neighborhood. He then asked who does that. He then stated there was a woman whose house was broken into and Zimmerman bought her a lock for her door. He then, once again, asked who does that in America today.
First, as others have said, if George Zimmerman knew everyone in the neighborhood why did he not know about Tracey Martin's son and that his son was spending time in the neighborhood. Second, millions of college students every year give up their entire spring break to build houses and do other things to help people they do not know. Millions of American help install air conditioning units in the homes of elderly people who do not have air conditioning. Americans are giving people. It is not a big deal that George Zimmerman bought a woman in his neighborhood a door lock. It is nice that he bought the lock, but he is not the only person who would have done that and he is not the only person in America who has done something nice.

(31,907 posts)Zimmie is now a non- entity. He's not an important person. We can start demeaning his existence by casting him away. It's aok to say:
He's too wet to step on and too low to kick.
Because if that's my opinion of him - my first Amendment rights are as important as his 2nd Amendment rights and he should man up and not cry baby out because anyone (me) thinks that of him.
His friends and family and 'handlers' can do all the PR they want - but there is no need for us to respond or 'cater' to them. But association- his 'friend' Jorge is also too wet to step on and too low to kick.
And if Jorge - doesn't like it - he can go scratch. What's he gonna do? Claim my words threatened my life and come shoot me?

(12,336 posts)That guy is no longer relevant. He is lower than dog crap and you are correct in saying that Your First Amendment rights are as important as his Second Amendment rights. So I echo you.
"He's too wet to step on and too low to kick".
Btw, mind if I post that on my Facebook page?

(10,952 posts)allegations that Zimmerman molested her for years when she was a minor. Being the subject to a restraining order is not an endorsement to good character either. I find his interest in his neighbors to be downright creepy. I would not want him having anything to do with changing a lock on my home nor would I ever want him living in my neighborhood.
Some of the homeowners who testified at the trial did not know him.
Also, if he claims to know everyone so well, why didn't he know the names of the three streets of the development?
