I think people can, and often do, ignore previous knowledge when they are on jury duty. As a prosecutor I surely would have gotten rid of her in a new york minute.

This, even before this case. Especially in our media soaked culture, can we truly expect to get jurors who don't know about a high profile case? And if we can... Well, what does that say about that person? That they are not interested in current events even in the slightest? That they are completely oblivious to their surroundings.

I don't have the words to properly describe the problem. I can't think of any solution either. Just something to worry about
