What a biased, ignorant, right-wing hack....
George Zimmerman had a "good heart"!?!? Are you serious!? He "helped out a neighbor lady", making them feel more secure. He was probably helping some old white lady feel safer because they shared a sentiment that "they" (African-Americans) we're posing a "threat" to their safe little community.
"He had a right to defend himself!?" What about Trayvon's right to defend HIMSELF!?
I'm also getting a little tired of the right wing sentiment that only blacks are defending Trayvon, partly perpetrated by the media. I'm watching this interview with the rest of my white, middle class family and we are ready to go out and start protesting! This is the epitome of injustice!

(17,742 posts)George himself told Hannity that HE WOULD NOT CHANGE A THING. That doesn't sound like someone who has learned anything! Except how to get away with murder.
She said she would be comfortable with him running around her neighborhood with a gun "as long as he doesn't go too far." WTF? WTH dose she consider TOO FAR???
This woman is completely clueless.

(12,189 posts)"Hey There, Georgie Girl." When I heard one of the witnesses call him "Georgie," a red flag went up. Sounds like they thought of him as a "pet." A "child." a "teddy bear." Who on earth calls a man "Georgie"? WTF? I have a yellow tabby cat named "George", and I call him with the Spanish pronunciation of the name, but never "Georgie".

Hell, he can even do it with the same gun.

(7,822 posts)It not just Zimmerman being freed that makes this so dangerous. It's all the others like him who will be emboldened by this verdict. Wanna get away with murder in Florida? Claim self defense, make sure there are no witnesses, and preferably be a white male.
If you're a black woman, however, you can get 20 years for firing a warning shot that hits NO ONE to frighten off your abusive estranged husband.

(12,189 posts)"...learned his lesson." she sounds like she felt sorry for him. Like he was the younger, and Trayvon was elder! "..as long as he didn't go to far..." about carrying a gun? WTF?????
From this time forward, I'm referring to the 6 jurors as the
"Sanford Wives" from AfredFuckingHitchcockville.!

But she doesn't want him to carry a hatchet and chop the body up. THAT would be going too far.

(22,000 posts)due to having to go somewhere. In a way I'm glad I didn't see much more because I think I would have had the same reaction.
Zimmerman's parents were interviewed on ABC and said they, their son, and their whole family are living in fear. They said they can't go back to their house and that they have lost everything. I felt that was a little disingenuous given Martin lost even more, his life.

(19,151 posts)Too bad he didn't own up that he made a mistake and take the punishment. He could have begged forgiveness and promised to work toward being a better person when he got out of prison. Anyone has the potential for redemption and that was there for him too. But he pissed on it.

(15,882 posts)Actually everyone involved in that lynching should keep an eye on their back.
And I hope, if they need the services of a jury, they are treated better than they treated Trayvon. But I wouldn't bet on it.

(12,189 posts)What a great picture (the top one) to prove the point that it's not only black folks who supported Trayvon. (I seen or heard some idiot in the last day or two that said it was only blacks protesting.) Last night as the pictures started showing up, it was the first words from my mouth... "look at all the white folks! Yes!!!!!" As time has passed since Saturday night, there is a furor in this land. People can NOT believe the verdict. No matter WHAT color their skin is!

She sounds like the George Zimmerman public relations press conference spokesperson.
What on earth was that? The screwiest juror interview I have ever heard. Idiotic, highly biased, ignorant and irrational logic throughout.
To top it off she sounds like she's really fond of Georgie.

(1,773 posts)Instead I was introduced to the inanity, ignorance and insanity of nonsense and extreme bias that was: juror B37.
This woman did the complete OPPOSITE of deliberating, she sounded like she wanted to get the thing overwith, and get to the not guilty, already.
What recklessness, what danger a jury can bring to the justice system.
ReRe
(12,189 posts).... who is going to write the book on the public's reaction to "Juror B37"? I wonder if she knows how the majority of the people thinks about her? That woman lives in a bubble. In. A. Bubble.
Whoever write it, they should call it "Juror B37". That's the one that's going to sell like hot cakes.

(57,936 posts)She may be a great-grandmother, but some of her grandchildren are not altogether white. She said she did not want her white grandson who is almost Trayvon's age to be out on the street at night.
This is not a race thing. (She did not mention race.) This is an age thing. I cannot imagine what those women were thinking. Who wants Zimmerman out on the street? I certainly don't.
I'm with Stevie Wonder. No way I will ever go to Florida until they change the stand your ground law and require a person who is attacked outside his home to retreat when possible.

(27,985 posts)I was furious when Zimmerman murdered Trayvon and he got away with murder. I wish him no peace nor comfort in life. He threw that away along with his white privilege the day he went hunting a human. Bag limit is zero, end of story. You don't get to kill our children and then live a comfortable life, you scum of the earth. I grew up less than 60 miles from you and I know the kind of scum you are.

(10,411 posts)Zimmerman had a long history of violence, including a restraining order for domestic violence, felony charges of resisting arrest, and assaulting an officer (the charge was pled down to a misdemeanor and then closed; Zimmerman's dad was a magistrate at the time). He was bounced from a job as a bouncer for being too aggressive with patrons, the New York Daily News reported. And a family member accused him of a pattern of sexual molestation. He wasn't convicted of any felony charges, which could have barred him from a gun license, but in some societies, people would determine that such a history makes someone less than an ideal candidate for the right to carry around a hidden loaded weapon.
