Juror B37 On CNN Has Me Fuming Right Now....

What a biased, ignorant, right-wing hack....

George Zimmerman had a "good heart"!?!? Are you serious!? He "helped out a neighbor lady", making them feel more secure. He was probably helping some old white lady feel safer because they shared a sentiment that "they" (African-Americans) we're posing a "threat" to their safe little community.

"He had a right to defend himself!?" What about Trayvon's right to defend HIMSELF!?

I'm also getting a little tired of the right wing sentiment that only blacks are defending Trayvon, partly perpetrated by the media. I'm watching this interview with the rest of my white, middle class family and we are ready to go out and start protesting! This is the epitome of injustice!

It not just Zimmerman being freed that makes this so dangerous. It's all the others like him who will be emboldened by this verdict. Wanna get away with murder in Florida? Claim self defense, make sure there are no witnesses, and preferably be a white male.

If you're a black woman, however, you can get 20 years for firing a warning shot that hits NO ONE to frighten off your abusive estranged husband.

Zimmerman's parents were interviewed on ABC and said they, their son, and their whole family are living in fear. They said they can't go back to their house and that they have lost everything. I felt that was a little disingenuous given Martin lost even more, his life.

5. Zimmerman could have been barred from carrying a weapon.

Zimmerman had a long history of violence, including a restraining order for domestic violence, felony charges of resisting arrest, and assaulting an officer (the charge was pled down to a misdemeanor and then closed; Zimmerman's dad was a magistrate at the time). He was bounced from a job as a bouncer for being too aggressive with patrons, the New York Daily News reported. And a family member accused him of a pattern of sexual molestation. He wasn't convicted of any felony charges, which could have barred him from a gun license, but in some societies, people would determine that such a history makes someone less than an ideal candidate for the right to carry around a hidden loaded weapon.
