1. Do they have a Nigerian cousin who's a prince in need of money?

I would Delete/Trash their correspondence and yours to them, and run a virus/malware check.

But that's just me. My husband is a DBA and has taught me to be very suspicious and cautious with unsolicited email with odd offers, and to never open attachments with same.

3. I have one better than that one -

I got an offer from the FBI (or some nonsense) offering to help me recover the money I lost in the Nigerian scam because I was gullible enough to be duped in the first place. Guess they figure anyone who was taken in by the original scam might be good for a second go-round...

4. Sounds legit. I mean, they have an actual gmail address. That's good.
