So we have Amber Alert for Child Abduction Emergencies...

Can we have a Zimmerman Alert for Open and Concealed Carry Emergencies?

Now that this practice is proven to be a threat, if you identify an open or concealed carry perp, you should take responsibility and report it.

Why take a chance?

Those signs are idle most of the time anyway. In the absence of a true Amber Alert, I'd rather see, 'ASSHOLE WITH AR-15 SLUNG OVER SHOULDER AT JC PENNEY' than, 'EXIT 109 SR 8: 5 MI 6 MIN.'

of local law enforcement and local radio and television broadcasters if you would like to make an alert system similar to Amber Alerts. I'm not sure that sort of thing is possible nor do I believe it would be productive. It might be alarming the public to a danger that does not yet exist.
