Productivity Gains and Wages increases
Should there be a law in America that a certain percentage of productivity gains have to go to wage increases? I read a statistic that showed from 1993 to 2002 manufacturing productivity rose 57 percent, but wages only rose 6 percent. In addition, it has been stated on numerous occasions that wage increases have not kept up with productivity increases.
