he may be good on policy, but he sucks as a representative of the Democratic Party. He's like a walking sleazy ego.

anyone who CHOOSES to run for political office as a representative for a particular party also needs to choose to not embarrass that same party by acting like a needy, hormonal middle schooler.

This is not something that is just between him and his wife. There is the 22 year old he sent this to, as well. She may have been naive and stupid to think there was something real going on but he seemed to do his best to keep it going.

As far as the "He who is without sin..." rationalization, I seriously doubt most people with high profile ambitions engage in such stupidity. This is pretty out of the ordinary.

I don't give even the hardest and most tiny little pebble of a shit about any of this moral majority nonsense.

I'm not his god and I'm not his wife so if you want me to care, it had better be about bad policy.

why do we want to crawl into bed with the Wieners? This is their business....do people actually think most politicians are saints and never do sexual things like the rest of us? If all you who are dismissing Wiener for this trangression....and YOU are so innocent...why don't you run for office?

Just on what is allowed to happen to the water supply alone eclipses this by so many orders of magnitude that it would take a super computer to figure out the math.

I'll have to see what you're concerned about on the Palestinian issue since I've never heard anything particularly beyond the pale on Jewish politician scale but I am open to being enlightened.

It's not the sexting that I'm judging, it's his stunning lack of self control that I'm disgusted by.

And he clearly has some very serious issues as far as impulsive behavior is concerned (since all of this happened after his resignation from congress and his first "confession&quot . I think the apparently total lack of impulse control is the worrying issue. I don't care about the "moral" issue (although I do feel bad for his wife who from all accounts is a lovely woman) but his impulsivity and recklessly compulsive behavior seems to be a problem since a politician is in the spotlight. Seriously, sending nude selffies to strangers via Facebook and Twitter and so on is just a bad idea.

I wouldn't vote for him, because he's continued to do this despite the consequences before. I'd be wary about what would happen once he was in office, and would assume that the behavior would continue and he'd be forced to resign as Mayor.

The man has some issues, and they make him unsuitable to hold public office until he addresses them and stops doing things that leave him wide open to political attack.
