I hope all those fearful Republicans think about this:

A police officer told Eric Swalwell before the vote that he hoped the senators would have the courage they did in defending the Capitol.

A very poignant statement.

I would take it a step further. If I were one of the cowards, I might be worried that if there is another insurrection, an officer might just not go the extra mile to protect me.
