A Korean TV station has reportedly retaliated against San Franciscos KTVU station by verifying its own fake American names for the Southwest Airlines flight 345 crew that nosedived its landing at New Yorks LaGuardia International Airport last week.
KTVU, now infamous worldwide, has been accused of racial slurs and stereotyping after falsely identifying the Asiana Airlines flight 214 crew with names like Wi To Lo and Sum Ting Wong. The Boeing 777 crash landed on July 6 at San Francisco International Airport, leading to the death of three people.
Slothed.com reports that the Korean station satirically identified the pilots of SWA flight 345 as Captain Kent Parker Wright and Co-Captain Wyatt Wooden Workman after the nose gear collapsed and the plane skidded to a stop. The broadcast apparently also made up names for people in its interviews, such as a flight instructor named Heywood U. Flye-Moore and a passenger named Macy Lawyers.
So far no other news outlets have confirmed the retaliatory act, but the internet is buzzing about the reported payback with good-humored approval.

Umm... I think it lost something in the translation. And I didn't like the joke in the first place. But I was LMAO that the SF news person didn't realize that she was had.
