One thing I am very proud of when it comes to posters in DU3

I know I know there are low howls for getting spell check back and functioning.
Yet, isn't it gratifying to see how well we all spell without it?

That's all.

it's embarrassing, how many spelling mistakes I make!

And the fact that the text size is so tiny and I have trouble seeing placing my cursor where I want it.... well, it often takes me a several tries to get it right.

But.... that's a personal problem! LOL

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll find the zoom box (there's on in the View menu that increases the size of the whole page. If there's one that only zooms the area I want, that would be preferable.

Thanks!

(+) on it. Control and + at the same time. That enlarges the typeface on the screen. Control and - reduces it in size.

That's the vertical, blinking bar in a text box. It's in the Control Panel/Ease Of Use section.

That was one of my pet peeves, that I could never see where the insertion point was.

Hmmm... that might work, I'll have to play with it and see. I tried a couple different settings and it doesn't seem to be working, maybe i need to reboot or something.

Great idea if I can get it to work!

But there are some programs that don't show the change. After you make the change, see what the caret looks like in Word or Notepad. If it looks larger, then it's simply your browser that won't display the updated caret.

An alternative would be to always write your postings in Word or Notepad and then copy them to your DU message.

and reduce page/font size by ctrl and _ keys
or
hold ctrl and roll center mouse wheel forward to enlarge, backward to shrink, if you have center wheel.

works for Firefox at any rate.

My vision seems to change several times a day and I keep having to switch back and forth.

like the DU spell checker did?

Mine doesn't, and that's what's taking the time - figuring out what's wrong, placing the cursor and fixing it

It DOES underline the misspelling in red, but doesn't offer to correct it for me.

Thanks!
