2. This clip is from "Fog of War."

That's Robert McNamara speaking. He was an architect of the US strategic bombing campaigns in World War II.

Oh wait, I see there's a list of people killed in US conflicts since 1945 at the end. No, that's not from the movie.

4. Simple agenda

Take a balance scale and put weights on both sides.

On one side, put two atomic bombs. On the other side, put hundreds of napalm bombs.

See which way the scale tips.

The agenda is this.

Hypocrisy to narrow the conversation to Nagasaki and Hiroshima. We were burning Japan to the ground anyway.

6. I didn't create the piece

I believe most people here are intelligent enough to draw their own conclusions. The last part was an editorial unrelated to the film. To most, this is obvious. It detracts from the point I was trying to get across.....about firebombs.

3. tokyo firebombing is accurate or undercounted as has been known for years --->

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombing_of_Tokyo article on tokyo bombing history in WW 2

the tag bit at the end is not really related to robert McNamaras bit about tokyo
