Raskin offered up an absolutely BRILLANT schooling and smackdown to that asshole van der Veen in regards to the Supreme Court ruling Bond v United States. As Raskin pointedly emphasized, van der Veen had interpreted it COMPLETELY BACKWARDS.
Up until then, I had thought van der Veen's relying upon and conflation of criminal statutes with constitutional impeachable offenses was him simply lying because he had no defense, but now it's rather obvious the man has no clue whatsoever in regards to constitutional law, and Raskin's decades of experience with teaching constitutional law was clearly on display.
It starts at local level.. working for school superintendent.
