I would doubt it. However, if one consciously and consistently (rather than merely accidentally) kept using the previous name, that may rather telling in and of itself. Or should one publicly state that they would indeed and in fact, continue using the outdated nomenclature regardless of whom it hurts, then again, that too may be rather telling.

Sincerity and insincerity are not so difficult to recognize if we simply look, I would think.
