"If People Think There’s Something Wrong With Success, ‘Vote for the Other Guy"

Can R-Money be ANY MORE of a completely out-of-touch ASSHOLE? The answer is "None More Assholey . . . at least until Rick Santorum speaks again."

http://news.yahoo.com/romney-cadillacs-people-think-something-wrong-success-vote-201808513.html

Appearing on "Fox News Sunday," host Chris Wallace pressed Romney about that statement as well as his answer during Wednesday's GOP debate when he refused to directly answer a question on the biggest misconception about him.

"Governor, can you understand why some voters would be put off by those things?" Wallace asked.

"You know, I can't be perfect," Romney said with a laugh, defending the Cadillac comment by saying his wife has a car at each of their homes, one in Massachusetts and one in California.

He continued, “If people think there’s something wrong with being successful in America, then they’d better vote for the other guy, because I’ve been extraordinarily successful and I want to use that success and that know-how to help the American people."

Riiiiiiiiiight, because you really used that success and know-how when your company nuked jobs, closed companies and pocketed the winnings.

Don't ever stop being you, Giftastic. Just keep on talking and pretend America loves Reaganomics.

I think mitten's has a form of Aspergers Syndrome.

I'm not trying in the least to be insulting to people who have that condition, but some of the things mitten's says and has done just strikes me as really odd.

If I'm off base with this idea, I apologize.

It's easy to see how at first glance Rmoney could be seen as slightly Aspbergers, since a lot of the stuff he says, you just don't get how someone could be this socially tone deaf by accident. I get that a lot myself - it's why I'm not good around people who I'm not necessarily "in tune with". My son has traits of Aspbergers, but he's a sensitive and caring person.

You look at RMoney, you'll see that he has a commonality with another sociopath: Bewsh always had someone there to pick him up or bail him out when he failed. So in a sense, he never truly failed or learned from those failings.

RMoney always had a lifeline in the form of cash and never bothered himself with the human suffering Bain Capital caused. Now he wants to relate this experience with crowds in the package of "helping America".

I think the difference is that Bewsh knew when to say what and for that reason, he could be passed off as a moderate (his neo-fascism came out, of course, AFTER the SCOTUS nestled him safely in office). Romney seriously thinks everyone he speaks to is down with the Trickle Down. It doesn't seem to cross his mind that some people affected by this economy are Republicans and yes, they ARE waking up. The fact that he would shrug off such a callous statement . . . I'm thinking "sociopath".

R you kidding me? The average American does not have access
to millions and or billions in borrowed funds (leveraged) w/ which
to buy up a % of a business and then cash out by firing the workers,
sending any of the production of the company off shore, looting the
pension accounts, selling off the properties & the company's assets,
finally declaring bankruptcy, and then walking away with millions of
$s in profits.

Mitt made his money screwing people. End of story.

So just who in the hell does romney mean by "the other guy"? The difference is that Obama worked his way up where romney had it all handed to him. Maybe someday romney and the rest of the repukes will understand that, but I doubt it.

Remember how they accused Obama of being elitist, and said they'd rather hang out and drink beer with W? I think that's really what they want. Not a leader, but a buddy. They can't imagine Romney ever drinking a beer, much less hanging out with him. For all their adoration of the rich, they just can't relate to them.

to sorority girls, but it doesnt sell representation to tired guys who've spent the last 20 years going through the wringer from guys like him

There hasnt been a single 3rd world country in the history of man, that didnt have rich winner-take-all guys like him.

Making to the top isnt 'uniqely American', ancient Egypt, India and China, as well as Mideavial Europe had that. A middle and dignified working class, and living a good life without having to make it to the top is what's 'American', and quickly slipping away

All Romney did at Bain, was gather up capital from people who had more money than they knew what to do with, and throw it at 'category killers' like Staples, and if it failed? So what, they'd never miss the money anyway, plenty more where that came from

But the mom and pops put out of business by places like staples and dominoes pizza? Down they want, because they were playing with money they COULDNT afford to lose

And a very large percent of these mom and pops were republicans

Never assume your opponent is completely united - there's plenty of bad feeling between guys like Romney/Bain and smaller businesspeople, who are put out of business by the globalism Bain types advocate

Never, EVER, say "Vote for the other guy", even if it follows the phrase "If you're from outer space". You just open yourself up to being quoted out of context. I've never run for office, yet even I know this.

This guy's tone deaf and out of touch like no other candidate in history.
