so that's at odds with seeking a vote.

He says he's made his decision.

He says it could happen tomorrow.

That's leaving the door open to conducting strikes and then seeking a vote after it happens.

He used words like "requires response" and that they were looking at "limited, narrow act." This was never a done deal as far as I could tell.

No need to rush. As Obama said they can strike even a month from now, if necessary. Let's get facts out to everyone so it's an informed decision.
