Who cares about this guy? Most Democrats cared about his NSA amendment recently.

It was called the Amash-Conyers amendment. Conyers cares about what the guy has to say, sometimes, if it's a good thing.

Definitely a lapse in judgement on the part of Conyers.

I like the way this is headed.
We now know that you wanted a war in Syria (I know what you've wrote in the past), and that you doubt Conyers' judgment.
You also defend the NSA which fuels your hatred towards Amash.

Please now trash most Democrats in the House, who sided with Amash and clueless Conyers.

of the American constitution - when Mr. Conyers and Mr. Amash are able to set aside differences and are joined by the majority of Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives and a minority but a fair number of Republicans in defending our values as Americans and as citizens of a liberal democracy - that is indeed a beautiful thing.

Not an attempt at actual reform.

Boehner has no control over his caucus, at least Pelosi was able to convince enough members not to stand in as useful idiots for the likes of Rand Paul.

"Impeachment is off the table" is probably not the right person to bring up if you're trying to wave around someone with firm moral convictions.

They're supposed to be morally reprehensible idiots that can't touch anything without fucking it up. That's why they're Republicans. People that claim to be on our side are *not* supposed to be that way.

The Democrats that stood with them were useful idiots toward that cause. The Amash amendment was not serious reform.

Of course they go to bed at night dreaming about impeachment. Do I think they will actually pursue it? No, not really, impeachment is hard. It is much easier to whip up the base and send out fundraising appeals alluding to it, but it certainly isn't "off the table" to them.
