Oh good God read the faux news crawl here.

I don't even understand this enough to make a comment about it. I just thought it was worth the picture.

1. don henley's lyric comes to mind...

We got the bubble-headed bleach-blonde who comes on at five

She can tell you about the plane crash with a gleam in her eye

It's interesting when people die, give us dirty laundry

Faux News credo.

8. Henly nailed it in the 80's...

and Will Ferrel did a good job of it in Anchorman. Empty headed teleprompter readers.

"You don't really need to find out what's going on

You don't really want to know just how far it's gone

Just leave well enough alone, Eat your dirty laundry"

I truly wish more people would know and understand Bernays' relevance to propaganda and mindless consumption.

32. There's a lot of people ok with propaganda

As long as it's theirs.

I was just surprised to see Bernays mentioned here. There are some very smart folks here, but they get drowned out by the noise from the cheerleaders.

If it weren't for LBN's knack of getting information before the media, and posts from people like Octafish, I wouldn't even read this site anymore.

11. Is there another meaning to your post because I understand that Rap music

is bad all around. I wish it were just gone. The point is that they put it on the scroll right next to Martin Luther King Jr.'s memorial like "we really think black people are bad but we have to celebrate the Martin Luther King guy so we'll stick something negative up right next to it.

15. I hate rap, I am a blues man

slide guitar is my deal and I am as good as anyone.

By 'They', I meant Fox idiots.

You are right on the money.

Is your name really Maraya?

If so, I think that is maybe the most beautiful name I have ever heard. It's poetic.

29. Your "I am as good as anyone"

reminds me of an old joke. How many guitarists does it take to change a light bulb? Six. One to change the light bulb and five to stand around cynically and say, "I can do that."

I'm sure you're very good but your comment just brought that old joke to mine.

33. It is actually the name of a Snow Leopard that I helped take care of at a rescue for big cats

in south Florida. I loved her. She was so sweet. This may sound far fetched but she literally died in my arms.

10. I believe that, 50 years ago,

they were saying that Elvis was a problem ... (Okay, just over 50 years for Elvis, just barely under 50 years for "The Beatles" music to be a problem).

25. In my mother's day,

it was that nasty rock 'n' roll sung by degenerates like Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis.

And dungarees. Oh, and white t shirts with the sleeves rolled up, and duck's ass hair styles. Then those long-haired hippie Beatles came along, and it was truly the end of the world.

In my day, it was heavy metal -- Don't Fear (the Reaper) was supposed to cause all the teenagers to commit suicide just by being in the same vicinity of anywhere it was played. Maybe it was only if you played it backwards. I forget.

My second son says I shouldn't hate all rap music, because a lot of it says the same things I say, about thinking, freedom, and so on. I guess. I just don't get into it. Like jazz, blues, swing, classic rock, beach music much better.

Some say.

Here is an exercise for you. Every time you see or hear the word "some", replace it with FOX News.

It makes a lot more sense.
