Same URL minus this: feature=player_embedded&

(10,960 posts)DU is set up to embed automatically if you put the native youtube url, and the "embeded" part of the address confuses DU.
If you edited the OP and backspaced over the stuff I identified as extraneous (feature=player_embedded&) the video would embed itself.

(40,667 posts)I've seen them, maybe in the same place that was filmed, but not more than a dozen and I've never seen them leaping out of the water like that.
I hope that's something normal for them, and not like they're gathering to leave the Earth like the Dolphins in Hitchhiker's Guide...
So long, and thanks for all the fish!

(17,806 posts)but I've never heard anyone talk about them flying like that. I think I would be scared to see it if I was on a boat, at least if they were doing it close to the boat. I have been told by people that they've seen humongous rays beneath them out on the water. At night they cast huge shadows and it's really a spooky thing to see.
MoonRiver
(36,975 posts)Does that sound familiar?

(17,806 posts)sometimes when they go fishing and sometimes they wind up in the boat with them. People have to be very careful about getting them out of there. Some people kill them first, but I don't think they're very easy to kill. I've been told that if you get one in your boat, you're supposed to drag your feet when you're around them. They probably have poor eyesight and strike if they see movement.

(53,339 posts)The second video mentions a woman in a boat who died from blunt force trauma after she was hit in the face by a stingray.
