With Breitbart Gone, What Becomes of His Empire?

The death Thursday of the combative online blogger and publisher leaves open the question of what will become of a thriving colony of conservative websites for which he was owner, prolific contributor and relentless salesman.

He used his websites to promote a hidden-camera video with actors posing as customers that led the downfall of the liberal Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN. He posted explicit photos of former Rep. Anthony Weiner that caused the New York congressman eventually to resign, but an edited video caused former U.S. Agriculture Department official Shirley Sherrod to resign over since-reversed perceptions she was a racist.

1. Are you sure they didn't say "umpire" or "vampire"?

Those websites were worthless before he died, I can't believe any sane person would consider them an empire now.... well not a non-lawyer person.

Along with his fantasies of the money he thinks he will win from his frivolous lawsuit.

highly qualified tecks of sheriff Joe's cold pus_eeeee using state of the art computer equipment to discover fraud in a pdf document. Note the bottle of programmer 'inspiration' sitting in front of the main frame. Never mind probably just Breibart's 'webmister' moonlighting for old Joe.
At any rate at least we got this over with before brekfast.

It might take a day or two, maybe a week or even a month but it'll cease to be here shortly. Not many people in this world with the hate it takes to do that day in and day out.

Probably somebody equally as nasty as him will take over and the smear machine will go on.

under an alias that his right wing supporters have set up.

If the right are going to have their own conspiracy theory that Breitbart was killed, I'm going to have my own that says he faked his death to put this ridiculous conspiracy theory out there. Supposedly he said, "Watch what happens March 1st." What happened? He "died."

9. A few weeks ago Sam Seder was discussing Breitbart on the Majority Report.
Fri Mar 2, 2012, 09:55 AM

He said that Breitbart's Big Gpvernement website had received an anonymous $10 million "investment". Seder said the website could not have generated much $$ on Google ads alone because it did not garner enough traffic.

So.... I wonder who Breitbart's deep-pocketed patron was. Koch Brothers perhaps?

as CEO, and they will probably last a couple months and then fester out after the world forgets about BriteFart. The world has pretty much completely forgotten about Glenn Beck and he's not even dead yet.

I suspect we will soon have another troll Du-jour, probably not at the reins of BriteFart's "empire", but through some other venture propped up by the same cabal that propped up BriteFart, and Drudge before him.
