Just like the old Soviet Union, the Republican Party is rotting from within and will collapse...

It cannot stand as a party that represents any significant amount of the population because most people are not rich and most people are not crazy.

Time is on our side.

They have their off-shore villas to retreat to. They don't need this country.

If we all stand together, the Rs won't be able to destroy the country (any more than they already have at least).

I really think this is going to be a great election year for us Dems.

Say what you will about Capitalism versus Communism, when given a choice, people will choose the ability to make their own destinies.

Same thing applies here. The choice is now between social repressives and social progressives. What will people choose?

But I think 'choice' (Democracy) will still win out, given time. Progressives offer choice and Repressives offer constraints.

That's what's becoming more clear to everyone.

"Both sides do bad things"

"These guys are kinda crazy, but Republicans in general are on the right track"

"We gotta lower the debt, only Republicans can do that, so we take the bad with the good".

Sorry there here to stay. They may eventually have to come to the center, but 95% of the MSM is right leaning.

I am worried that they are going to try to rebrand themselves as "social moderates", thinking of what Jeb Bush said about the GOP candidates a couple of weeks go. A lot of people in this country might have short enough memories to go for Jeb in 2016, if he manages to come of as the alternative to bat-shit crazy with an "R" after his name. The GOP already makes sure not to mention his brother.

Of course it would all be a nicer mask over the same old crap.

But are afraid to say so. I believe there are some "moderates" waiting in the wings just biding time until the "Crazy Era" passes.

They know their ideology can't stand the test at the ballot box. Solution? Create obstacles that disenfranchises millions of Americans from voting. They are the Party of Treason.
