they were providing last year a thousand jobs to veterans, then he changed it to 960 ....
There are 1,500,000 active duty soldiers in our military and 776,000 veterans in Georgia, the HQ of Coca Cola alone ....
THANK YOU COCA COLA for your service to our country .....
And they certainly are buttering up the Clintons as much as they can ....
Because of course they think the 99ers still believe in miracles ....

First Lady Michelle Obama Announces 125,000 Veterans & Military Spouses Hired through Joining Forces
WASHINGTON Today, First Lady Michelle Obama traveled to Naval Station Mayport, Florida to announce that more than 2,000 businesses who have participated in her Joining Forces initiative have hired or trained more than 125,000 veterans and military spouses in the past year. Mrs. Obama also announced that these same companies have committed to build on the momentum to date and have pledged to hire or train 250,000 veterans and spouses in the coming years. The First Ladys event at Naval Station Mayport was livestreamed by the Department of Defense to every U.S. military base around the world.

(5,105 posts)Don't know if you've heard, but Coca-Cola and other crap like that rots teeth and has a powerful PR machine. Their interests are completely different from those they sell their liquid crap to.
And "buttering up the Clintons" -- what does that even mean?
If they put butter on anything, Rush and Paula Deen will eat it.

There's a Public Relations angle to this.
Nothing more. Nothing less.

My friend was not a veteran and was also a high school drop out, just the opposite of me. He was hired. . .
