When she talks she seems earnest and straightforward. She seems like a real asset to our nation.
Can people share their opinions of her?

She is very, very smart and got elected from a conservative district upstate.

(37,305 posts)1. She needs a voice coach. Superficial I know but she has no gravitas.

Hillary is pretty good also. Gillibrand is passionate but her voice is so young.

Is she a national player? Will take a bit more seasoning and needs to polish her delivery.
But, she's definitely the best decision David Paterson ever made.

I have been impressed.
She is progressive on lots of issues. She also does a lot of outreach to her constituents. Not sure some others care that much in 'safe' districts.
