He thought he was being ironic "in the good way".

He is an embarrassment to our country, a true
demagogue, and a shameless self-promoting hack. In
other words, he's a hero to Tea Partiers and RWNJ's.
He made a farce out of Senate debate and procedures.
Government is useless and stupid in his view, and he is
doing his best to prove it.
