Anyone else feels like crying listening to POTUS?

The repukes don't want to shut down the gov because of no funds, they want to shut down the gov because if ACA.

That's pretty much what he said

I luv you POTUS, please don't give up!!!

my feelings exactly!

This President speaks for me! Even though we are not getting paid until the crazy lose some of the so called moderate rethug support and are forced to cave, I stand 100% behind The President of The United States Barack Obama!

He looks very firm, take no prisoners type of firm. In his opening remarks, he laid blame directly on the repukes, specifically the teahadists. He is, of course, correct.

Yeah, I liked that part, but now, he's gone on too long, selling the ACA, and the msm does not do well with multiple messages.

On edit: I really like how PBO finished up, explaining that republicans in congress are holding up bills that he would like to see passed, but he does not take hostages and make demands. (I just felt like he may have lost part of his audience, when he mixed messages and should have spoke about the ACA during a separate press event)

What better time to sell the virtue and benefit of Obamacare than when the whole world is watching during day 1 of Republican government shutdown.

This has ZERO to do with the budget. The repugs are creating this mess because of a law unrelated to doing their job.

IMO it was one of his better speeches.

He needs to hit the fact that the GOP is throwing this fit to prevent the working poor from getting health insurance over and over again.

If you watch the speech all the way thru, they pan over the people standing there and there's a slightly heavy-set very blond attractive lady, to his extreme right, who is just beaming at everything he says even when he pauses. She is just beaming, bubbling in fact.

When the speech was over, all the guests were invited into the WH, and all of them either lightly hugged or shook hands with the Presddent.

Not "that" lady." She hugged the President so hard, kissed him, stopped, he smiled his gorgeous smile from ear to ear, hugged her back and they hugged each other.

And I ate my heart out that I wasn't "that lady."
