Tried Calling the Boners office

his mail box is full.

Wanted to say bring a clean CR vote to the floor because that is how a Republc/Democracy is supposed to work.

I intended to be polite even though inside my head I am calling him every vile name in the book.

Either they are getting lots of calls or they shut off the voicemail so that they didn't have to hear about it.

If they are just shutting their voicemails off. I did get through to Collin's, my local Puke rep, at one of his nearby offices. Left a message with his aide that I feel Congress needs to pass a clean CR and debt ceiling and quit using them as negotiating chips.

James Lankford (R-OK) who is about has crazy as they come:

It is time for the House Republicans to do their job and vote on a clean CR (as well as the Debt Ceiling when the time comes). It is absurd for one faction of one party in one part of the Federal Government to hold this country hostage because they 1) did not like the outcome of the last election and 2) the passage, enactment, and the Supreme Court ruling on the ACA. The beaviour of the Republican Party in the House of Republicans is just like a temper tantrum thrown by a toddler because he/she did not get his/her way. We live in a democracy and the people have spoken. If the masses were so opposed to the ACA then we would now have Romney as our President. The time has come for the House Republicans to grow up and do their job. Failure to do so will result in irrevocable damage to your party while boosting the Democrats to a pretty good chance at taking back the House in 2014.

Secound thought, why don't you continue to drive this country over the cliff. It may be painful in the short run but would be the best thing that could happen to this country in the long term if it drives your party into permanent minority status for decades to come.

Yes, I know that it is hardly going to get through to him but this guy is bat shi** crazy (and a tea party nut) and would never listen to a rationale dialog anyways.

Just called and said as Speaker he is supposed to represent all Americans not just an extremist few and that the correct thing to do is bring up a Clean CR for a vote.

I said the extremists will be given their chance to vote no, but the rest of the House should be given their chance to vote yes.

I said that is the only right thing to do in this case and it is his duty as an American to do it.
