If Gingrich can be propped up by a billionaire

So can Rush Limbaugh.

How can one boycott a guy like Adelson?

Find out what enterprise he owns and boycott it?

Perhaps Rush ends up being supported by an anonymous billionaire?

Will chasing away his advertisers become a hollow victory?

Adelson has put in ten or fifteen million to Newt's campaign

Then there is the rest of the cost of a radio show

It can be done but it would be more expensive than Newt's one time short lived presidential bid.

It doesn't matter how much backing Rush has, if he becomes a liability by bringing down ratings, he will be ousted.

For ratings to go down, listeners have to stop listening.

And for listeners to stop listening, they have to be disgusted and dedicated to purposely avoiding Rush's show.

In this society, the genre of public that listens to Rush may be disgusted on one level but will tune in to hear what Rush will say next. Not to mention a new segment that listens for the same reason. That way he still maintains an audience.
