Fox News Poll Finds Disapproval Of GOP Skyrocketing After They Shut Down Government

By: Jason Easley
Oct. 3rd, 2013

Bad News is everywhere for the Republican Party. Even the Fox News poll has found disapproval of the Republican Party jumping to 59% in their latest poll.

According to the Fox News poll, disapproval of the Republican Party has jumped from 46% in September of 2012 to 59% today. Disapproval of the GOP has climbed from 54% in January to 56% in April to nearing 60% today. Approval of the Republican Party has fallen from 45% to 35%. In contrast, Democratic Party unfavorability has stayed stable in the Fox poll at between 48% and 49% all through 2013.

Support for repealing the ACA has dropped from 39% in June to 30% today. This could mean that the linking of funding the government to defunding or delaying the ACA has completely backfired on the Republican Party. The number of Americans who think that they will be better off under Obamacare has risen by 7 points from 34% to 41%, and by a margin of 36%-19% respondents thought that Ted Cruz’s fake filibuster hurt efforts to repeal the ACA.

snip//

Republicans dismiss most polls as “rigged by the liberal media,” but it is difficult for them to ignore a poll that cones from the supposed only real news source that they trust. The government shutdown isn’t just bad for Republicans. It’s disastrous.

All of the Republican talking points blaming Harry Reid and President Obama for the shutdown are failing miserably. Every moment that the shutdown continues compounds the damage. We all knew that this day would come someday. The Republican Party is being destroyed by their own obsession with Obamacare.

unfortunately, even tho millions more voted for Democrats for House seats, the gerrymandered Republican districts will continue to plague this nation until the Republican party cleans the shit out of its stables.

If that's not possible, the reasonable republicans, and independents, will, out of simple basic decency, need to vote for Democrats to get rid of the house turds.

The Republican's choice is to end this now and face major damage or drag it out as long as they possibly can and completely destroy the party in the process. The Republican 2014 prospects were looking threatening to us before this especially in the Senate races, but they seem determined to turn the whole damn country against them. I have never seen a party as suicidal as today's Republicans are in my lifetime.

President Obama has also said he will gladly negotiate AFTER AND ONLY AFTER a clean budget is passed. I have good reason to hope that whatever happens at that time, he will be dealing from exactly the position where he wanted to be pushed. Best long game in the country. Hopefully the repukes will only get the revisions he wanted to make anyway.

He will not do that as part of any hostage negotiation however and he will not delay implementation of the actual program, but I don't see them fining anyone for violating the individual mandate before the employer mandate is in place.

The delay will be announced after the shut down ends and not before it, the Republicans will try to claim it is a victory but it will be something he was planning to do anyways.

Same with the 2012 elections. Majority projected a close presidential race. We know that was false. The number for disapproval of the GOP is much higher. They are even losing their senior votes.

I want to see for myself whats out there. Its like Facebook; friends will post a story about whatever, and I'll try to find it from a different source to see for myself if its accurate. Many times it's not.
I would say out of everything Ive seen that gets a lot of viewers/readers, InfoWars has to be the most out-there of them all. But there are minor ones that are truly weird. Check out "wellaware.com" That guy thinks that famous people and politicians are actually actors playing a part. Newtown was faked, etc. theres some wild shit out there.
Too many people are too narrow minded when it comes to sources. Not in the way they think, but what they'll read, etc. Sometimes you find out things that are true in places you normally wouldnt think of.

Thu Oct 3, 2013, 11:43 PM
Oct 2013

From a mass-psychological standpoint.

It really is inevitable that this is happening.

Of course we couldn't predict the specifics, but this downward spiral is really maxing out for them.

They do this to themselves, since they are a mob now acting wholly based on twisted, irrational, paranoid thoughts.

Any one person that any of us might personally know who *ever* acted in such ways would certainly be someone we wouldn't want to encourage. That would be clear and we'd respond to protect ourselves --draw and enforce boundaries--sooner hopefully rather than later.

But when it's happening on a massive social level, the objective understanding comes in different ways and different times to each individual.

Now it's actually a good thing they've been ABLE to devolve so relentlessly. Of COURSE they're finally exploding spectacularly.

It also means that due to ALL the different events happening, more people will see the light, so to speak. That's actually good. That's the only way massive inner change can happen to the most people possible as quickly as possible.

Basically, many individuals have to decide, really, how they will think and whether they should start coming out of denial. And due to circumstances on a global level, we all are being forced to "decide" whether we'll DEVOLVE or EVOLVE!

Just some late night thoughts before turning in for the night....
