I don't know if this will make anyone feel better but I am.

I have relative who is a right wing republican ass.

Due to family issues I had to be around him.

He owns a business and he is really worried about what is going on.

It was funny to listen to him almost crying about it.

He might not get his money from the government for the work he does.

Yeah, he hates big government but loves the money and the tax deductions.

After listening to him, I said to bad you who vote republican.

Your bunch started this, they don't care about you.

All kinds of people will suffer because people like you voted republican.

Go pound sand.

I hope to never see him again.

So you see this is hitting republican small business people.

I only feel sorry for the 5 people who work for him.

He might loose everything.

He really gets most of his business from a the government.

But he really hates it.

Go figure.

and they're so bamboozled by Pox News and Limbag that they have no clue what's really going on. Since they find facts painful, they will continue to avoid them.

They are marching themselves off to the lunatic fringe and they're welcome to it.

He isn't.

From what I heard he is really over his head.

I guess he never thought those nice government checks would stop coming in.

Now he has the new house in a gated community.

your cousin.

He has no clue where his political loyalties ought to lie. He spends all of his money trying to live as if he's rich. While there are those who genuinely live so close to the edge it's impossible to save, I despise the ones like him who think saving money is only for fools. Or whyever it is that they don't save a penny.

You say he pays his employees decently. Does he also provide healthcare?

Then I cussed him out for half an hour. He finally admitted he doesn't vote. I said good! Now get out and leave my medical mj right where you found it. No more medicine for him.

I wonder how many people really know about the shutdown to begin with.

Now that is scary.

Glad you told him off, does make one feel better.

I would have said more but I was at a wake.

Believe me I would have told him a lot more somewhere's else.

I guess the stupid people will be learning real soon where medicare and medicaid comes from.

I blame Reagan.
I was shocked that he didn't know that socialism saved his life. I was so glad he lived and now I'm sad he is dumb. We have forced him into GED classes so he can learn a little bit of what he missed while he was gangbanging and hustling.
He would feel fully comfortable as a black man at a tea party rally. I blame myself for not educating him. I assumed he knew.
I bet he will become a democrat as soon as his ssdi check doesn't show up.

I have family members who are still passing around the Kenyan cartoons and jokes. I am not close to those family members and have my mother's emails with "fwd" in the subject line set to get deleted when she tries to send them to my email address. Those are always some Kenyan this chimpanzee that racist bullshit. I don't know why she sends crap like that and chain emails. I have told her hundreds of times not to do that because it's bullshit and no one likes political crap or chain email crap in their inbox. She won't listen. I just set that crap to go to the trash. If she tries to talk about it on the phone, I will say, "Oh look, I just saw a bird out the window I haven't seen before. Let me go identify this species." She knows that means I'm gong to be talking about nature and nothing but nature obsessively for the next hour or so and nothing else can change the conversation. So, she lets me get off the phone. It is irritating to be surrounded by family that believes superstitions, lies, scams, and Republicans (all one in the same, really) more than facts.
