House of Cards

Just finished the first episode. Will there be any sympathetic characters? Don't get me wrong. It is a hell of a show. But everybody is such an SOB and remind me of why I quit the political consulting biz and started teaching. I like the teachers union guy, but so far he is peripheral.

Lots of twists and turns. The young reporter woman letting Spaceys character take the nudie pics was a train crash you can see coming. But, yeah dont tell me.

When it comes to being a dick Kevin Spacey isn't even in the same league with the Prime Minister in the original BBC version of this series.

Ian Richardson is so creepy he makes your skin crawl.
